Shipping Policy

Granite Mountain Outfitters (GMO) strives to provide outstanding customer service.  Prompt shipping is important to many customers.  Typically, you can expect your order to ship the same day or next business day, Monday to Friday and closed holidays.  During the holiday and peak seasons, shipping times may be delayed. We do work very hard to get your order out to you as fast as possible. 

Firearms will require that we have your transfer dealers FFL license on file with us prior to any firearms being shipped.  Our email address for sending FFLs only is ffls@gmountainoutfitters.com and we are happy to reach out to your transfer FFL licensee.

All FFL licenses will be validated after receipt and prior to shipment.

GMO uses various shipping companies such as USPS, UPS & FedEx.  Firearms and ammunition will be shipped either UPS or FedEx.  Ammunition ships ground only.

Handguns ship 2nd Day Air & long guns ship Ground. All firearms being shipped must be shipped to an FFL Dealer who will then perform the background check and transfer.

GMO will attempt to find the lowest cost shipping to save our customers money.  We may at times offer free shipping for certain purchases and during certain times of the year and it will be advertised as such.

We DO NOT ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO’s, P.O. Boxes or internationally.  

For shipping costs please add the item(s) to your cart, when you get to your checkout screen and enter your address, your shipping charges will be calculated.

Due to excessive restrictions imposed by some states, GMO will not ship firearms, ammunition or magazines to the following states and the District of Columbia:

• California
• Colorado
• Connecticut
• Delaware
• Hawaii
• Illinois
• New Jersey
• New York
• Vermont
• Washington
• Washington DC (no sales to Washington DC)

Order Cancellation

You can cancel your order up until the pick slip is printed and your order is in process to be packed and shipped. After that time, we are unable to cancel your order.

Incorrect Shipping Address

If you have supplied an incorrect shipping address, we can correct the address prior to shipment.  If your order has been shipped, an address change fee per package will be added. If the delivery is refused return shipping charge will be applied.

Inventory

We make every effort to maintain accurate inventory but items can be oversold and mistakes are possible in both inventory, descriptions or pricing.  GMO reserves the right to cancel any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the price or description. In the event that an order is cancelled, GMO will refund in full if charged.

Damaged shipments

Damaged shipments must be reported immediately to GMO.  Please take pictures if possible.  We will work with you on the claims process.  In the event of any damage or shortage, all boxes and packaging regarding that order, must be retained until the claim resolution has occurred.  Please notify GMO at management@gmountainoutfitters.com
